Ava Dickson
Founder
Birth Doula
High Risk Pregnancy Specialist
Reiki Practitioner
I’m Ava! A mother, sister, preeclampsia survivor, and OBGYN medical professional turned birth doula! Having survived a high risk pregnancy and delivery, I understand the reality of pregnancy, birth, and all of the “unknown” that comes along with it. After having planned for an in hospital water birth with a midwife, my dreams of an unmedicated spontaneous birth were crushed with my diagnosis. I was left feeling unprepared and unsupported by my medical staff and wanted to find a solution to my lack of knowledge. That’s when I decided to start Hera, a doula service specializing in integrative fertility and hospital birth. Hera is a doula service for all types of pregnancies and birth desires- from unassisted water births to repeat C-Sections, I know we can make your pregnancy and birth the most empowering moment in your life.
Let’s do this together!

Leah Temple
Co-owner
Fertility Coach
Birth & Sibling Doula
Menstrual Health Educator
Hi there! I'm Leah, a Bebo Mia trained full spectrum doula, specializing in fertility and birth support. I have a background in software development and management, spending over seven years working in the corporate world. Problem solving, research, planning and teaching others are some of my favorite things!

My own conception and birth stories are what lead me to become a fertility coach and doula. Feeling the difference in support level that comes from hiring a doula firsthand, I can truly say that no one should have to go without. My births were also vastly different, so in addition to training I also have first hand experiences in both medicated and unmedicated birth, inductions and waterbirth.
I can't wait to work with you!

Rachel Farmer
Holistic Health Coach
Yoga Instructor
As a board-certified Physician Assistant, PA-C, Institute of Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and 200 hour certified yoga instructor, Rachel Farmer has a great passion for holistic wellness. Her journey began back in 2013 when she tried her first yoga class as a fun activity with her mom, but it wasn’t until she was working her first job as a PA-C when she started to feel very stressed that she dove back into yoga as a way to relax and find mental peace in 2022. Her passion for yoga inspired her to attend House of Om’s 200 hour yoga teacher training in Bali in the winter of 2023, and after completing the 3 week program, she became open to the possibility of helping and healing outside the clinic in other ways. It inspired her to further education by enrolling in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition's Health Coaching program, bridging the gap between what she learned through the Western medical model as a physician assistant and Ayurveda, the oldest medical system originating in India as a yoga teacher. Rachel is passionate about sharing how wellness goes beyond nutrition and exercise, and she specializes in creating sustainable changes and helping others tap into their own innate wisdom.
